What this page shows

Every post in your bookmark folder, as a card: what it is about, which part of Scintilla it touches, and one suggested next step. Nothing on this page was built — it is a list for you to go through and say yes or no to.

Under the cards is every ticker those posts name: whether Scintilla can already price it, which cohort it sits in (or would sit in), and whether it has been made a favourite.

The three kinds of card: IDEA / WATCHLIST (47) is somebody's trade or ticker, DATA (15) is a number Scintilla does not hold yet, STATION / INDICATOR (3) is a way of reading a chart.

Where each number comes from

The posts come from the folder itself, read by the collector's own signed-in browser on this MacBook. Nothing was retyped: the text, author, date, links, picture descriptions and $tickers are as X returned them.

“Served?” is a live read of the chart API's universe list (65 of the names here are in it; the universe holds 364 symbols in total).

The cohorts and the favourites are read from the same tables the Hub reads — the favourites list is the cross-device one, not your browser's.

The reading of each post — “what it is about” and “proposed” — is one worker's judgement, not a measurement. Disagree freely.

The proof run

One manual pass on this MacBook, on 2026-09-23 23:43 UTC, with the real folder and the real Trading list. The Trading list came back with 99 posts and published as usual; in the same pass the bookmark folder returned 65 posts. Both halves are in the pass's own receipt.

The folder is read as a sidecar after the Trading list has finished and written its receipt, in the same browser, on the same nine-times-a-day schedule. No new background job was installed. If the folder read fails, the Trading list result is untouched.

Running it twice changes nothing: the second pass added 0 and changed 0.

A second pass thirteen minutes later showed the two halves really are separate. The Trading list half tripped a timing problem that was already there — its “finish” click gave up after thirty seconds while its own publication was still running, so the pass recorded itself as crashed even though the feed published and your desk stayed current. The folder read carried on regardless and returned the same 65 posts. Worth a look by whoever owns the collector; it is not something this work introduced.

What could be wrong

A $word in a post is not always a ticker. $ES here is the S&P future, not Eversource Energy, and a few others are option shorthand or a truncated word — those are listed at the bottom of the table as “not a ticker here”, not silently counted.

The folder is read by scrolling until X stops sending more. If X changes that page, the read stops and says so rather than inventing a shorter folder.

A ticker being “not served” does not mean it is a bad name — it means Scintilla has no bars for it, so nothing on the board would be real until the universe is extended.

Favourites were added only for names this folder mentions in two or more separate bookmarks, because favourites are what your board opens on. The one-mention names are listed and can be added in one line.

What I did not do

Nothing was deployed, pushed or published. No bookmark was added, removed or changed on X — the folder was only read. No price table was written.

The new favourites and the candidate list are written as two database migrations for the coordinator to apply; they have not been applied.

No ticker was added to the chart API's universe. That is not an additive change: the universe is pinned by a count and a digest in both the chart API and the Hub, so a new symbol needs the universe file extended, the digest re-pinned and a deploy.

Nothing on the cards was built. This page is the triage list, not the work.

Favourites (20260923_claude_check_favorites.sql): adds 12 rows — CBRS, NOW, DELL, LITE, SPCX, AAPL, CRM, IBM, LMT, MP, SMR, WDC. To undo: the delete statement at the bottom of that file removes exactly those tickers and nothing else.

Candidate list (20260923_claude_check_candidates.sql): creates one new table that nothing reads yet. To undo: drop table public.claude_check_candidates;

The collector: the folder read is a sidecar with an off switch — --no-bookmarks, or remove the one line that calls it. The Trading list code is untouched either way, and the folder's posts are kept in their own directory, beside the Trading list's files, never inside them.

Drawdown depth and length vs the median tech selloff.

proposed: Drawdown-from-peak per ticker/sector is computable from bars the Hub already has.

the post itself
Technology is down -12% from its peak. 56 days and counting.

The median Tech selloff drops 25.7% and bottoms in 73 days. This one is only 12% deep and 56 days in. It's one of the shallowest on record.

Every single Technology drawdown in history has recovered to new all time highs. Every one.

If this follows the median path, we're looking at a bottom forming in late August - late September.

Global market cap as a share of GDP.

proposed: Macro panel candidate; needs a source the Hub can read on a schedule.

the post itself
BREAKING: Global stock market cap is up to 137% of global GDP, near the highest on record.

The ratio has risen +40 percentage points since April 2025, matching the peak levels seen during the 2021 meme stock frenzy.

By comparison, this figure peaked at ~120% before the 2008 Financial Crisis.

This comes as global equity market cap surged to a record $166 trillion this month.

The US stock market alone accounts for ~$77 trillion, or ~46% of the global total.

AI is driving historic growth in equity markets.

A one-day market recap naming 15 tickers plus oil, yields and claims.

proposed: Ticker source. The macro numbers are already the ECONOMIC room's job.

the post itself
A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY.

Here's a full recap:

1. Tesla $TSLA was down 14% today, its worst day since January 2024, while Google $GOOGL was down 7% after posting its first negative free cash flow quarter since 2004. The macro backdrop is not helping either. Crude oil has pushed back above $90/barrel for the first time since June and is up 25% over the past month. At the same time, the 10-year Treasury yield has crossed 4.7%, while jobless claims came in at 187K vs 211K expected, showing a stronger labor market but also raising concerns that inflation pressure could persist. Today was the worst day for the Mag 7 since April 2025 with all 7 stocks erasing $800B of market cap.

2. AMD $AMD CEO Lisa Su said at the AMD Advancing AI event today that the AI accelerator market could grow to $1.4T by 2030, within a broader compute market expected to reach $2T. She also noted that monthly AI token consumption has surged 158x over the past two years, underscoring how quickly compute demand is scaling. AMD unveiled Helios, its new rack-scale AI system built around the MI450 accelerator, which Su called the fastest AI accelerator in the industry. Helios is now in full production, with shipments expected to start at the end of Q3 and ramp through Q4.

3. Intel $INTC posted a strong Q2, with revenue of $16.1B vs $14.5B expected, up 25% YoY, and adjusted EPS of $0.42 vs $0.22 expected. Adjusted gross margin came in at 41.8% vs 39% expected, up 1,210 bps YoY, while non-GAAP operating margin reached 17.2% vs 10.7% expected. Segment results were strong across the core business, with CCPG revenue up 13% YoY to $8.9B, DCAI revenue up 59% YoY to $6.3B, total Intel Products revenue up 28% YoY to $15.1B, and Intel Foundry revenue up 31% YoY to $5.8B. Management said Q2 marked Intel’s strongest revenue growth in more than 15 years, driven by better execution, higher factory yields, improved cycle times, and stronger customer demand.

4. Trump warned that the U.S. will hold Iran responsible if the Houthis resume attacks on commercial shipping. He said the Houthis had acted “responsibly” after previous U.S. strikes, but are now “starting up again” after reportedly firing on two Saudi Arabian ships last night. Trump said the Houthis are a proxy of Iran, and that any further attacks would trigger major military punishment against both Iran and the Houthis.

5. Nvidia $NVDA is committing $1.5B to Amkor $AMKR through a prepayment tied to a multi-year advanced packaging and development agreement. The funding will help Amkor expand U.S. packaging capacity at its Arizona campus as both companies work on next-generation packaging and test technologies for AI and accelerated computing. The partnership will focus on high-density interconnects and heterogeneous integration, which are key for combining multiple chips and components into more powerful systems.

6. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $TSLA with 3.6M contracts, $NVDA with 2.4M contracts, $GOOGL with 994K contracts, $AMZN with 940K contracts, $SPCX with 917K contracts, $AAPL with 732K contracts, $INTC with 706K contracts, $MU with 664K contracts, $GOOG with 560K contracts, and $MSFT with 532K contracts.

7. South Korea is moving to tighten rules around leveraged single-stock ETFs and ETNs beginning July 31. Retail investors will now need about $20,300 in cash to open or add to a position, up from roughly $6,800 previously. The key change is that stocks, bonds, and other securities will no longer count toward the deposit requirement, making it harder for retail traders to access these leveraged products.

8. U.S. mortgage rates rose for the third straight week, with the average 30-year fixed climbing to 6.58%, putting rates back near their highest level in a year.

9. AMD $AMD and Cerebras $CBRS are teaming up on a disaggregated AI inference architecture that divides workloads between both platforms. In the setup, AMD Helios manages prompts and long-context processing, while Cerebras’ Wafer-Scale Engine focuses on ultra-low-latency token generation. The companies say the combined system can deliver up to 5x more tokens per second per watt than Cerebras alone, with initial availability expected through Cerebras Cloud in the second half of 2026.

10. Uber $UBER cut 10% of roles in its customer service operations as it restructures the division and leans further into AI. The company said fragmented workflows were making it harder to roll out AI at scale, and this marks Uber’s first layoff round specifically tied to AI-driven efficiency.

11. SpaceX $SPCX is reportedly turning away satellite operators looking for dedicated Falcon 9 launches beyond 2028 as the company shifts more of its long-term launch strategy toward Starship, per Bloomberg. SpaceX has also stopped taking future Falcon 9 rideshare reservations and has paused production of some expendable Falcon components, though Falcon 9 is still expected to remain active for NASA and Pentagon missions. The risk is timing: if Starship is not commercially ready by 2028, the market could face a major launch-capacity gap, creating a bigger opening for competitors like Rocket Lab, Blue Origin, and ULA.

12. Meta’s $META new $12B Texas data center financing, tied to a nearly 1GW project, is reportedly being discussed at yields above 7%. That is roughly 40 bps higher than Meta’s $27B Hyperion financing from just nine months ago, adding about $48M in annual interest expense. Hyperion bonds are now trading around 96 cents on the dollar, showing how financing costs for massive AI infrastructure projects are starting to move higher.

WALL STREET IS THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.

Hedge funds selling tech at a record pace — positioning.

proposed: Positioning data is not in the Hub and has no free source; note only.

the post itself
Hedge funds are dumping US tech stocks at a record pace:

Hedge funds have sold information technology stocks in 6 of the last 8 weeks.

This brings total 8-week sales to the largest in at least 10 years.

Last week alone, technology was the most-sold US sector among hedge funds.

As a result, tech exposure as a % of total market exposure is down to its lowest since February 2026.

At this rate, tech exposure could fall to its lowest in at least 5 years as early as next week.

Hedge funds are rapidly moving to the sidelines.

Why CBRS fell after earnings — IPO pricing and the story.

proposed: Ticker only (CBRS already served, cohort GROWTH).

the post itself
Gavin Banker explains why $CBRS dumped after earnings and the story Cerebras should have told

"There are a lot of portfolio managers who, if a stock breaks IPO price, they sell it no matter what. They consider it a promise that was broken. They short it because they want to break deal price and then they make a quick 10 or 20%."

"If you're going public and you're listening to this, tell your bankers to price it in such a way that we're not going to break deal price in our first nine months as a public company. That's what I always advise everyone to do."

"The way I would have respectfully told the Cerebras story is: we signed this transformational ~$25 billion contract with OpenAI in December of 2025. It takes four months from when we make that order for TSMC to say yes and start producing. Then it takes two months to turn that chip into a server. Then it takes us a month to energize that chip and start making tokens with it."

"So the first time you're going to see the impact of this OpenAI deal at the earliest is probably around Labor Day."

"It takes $35 billion to bring on a gigawatt, and you can generate $15 billion in token revenue out of that gigawatt. If they could add 50 megawatts a month in 2027, they exit the year at roughly a $9 billion cloud computing run rate. And we're at less than $40 billion of market cap right now."

the post itself
My Top 5 Interconnect stocks ranked:

1. $CRDO (Credo Technology)
The AEC copper pure-play with the best growth rate in the group, 274% YoY revenue growth last quarter. Hyperscalers are choosing copper wherever physics allows, and Credo owns that socket. But they’re not standing still: DustPhotonics ($750M) gives them silicon photonics, Hyperlume gives them microLED, and the optical DSP portfolio (Bluebird, Cardinal) is doubling revenue annually. Credo is building a full-stack interconnect company across all distance tiers. Smaller and higher-growth than Marvell.

2. $AAOI (Applied Optoelectronics)
A transceiver company riding the current 800G/1.6T wave, and riding it well. The capacity story is the bull case: AAOI is building toward 500,000 units/month of combined 800G and 1.6T transceivers by year-end. Raymond James models annualized EPS of $11-12 at that capacity level. The geopolitical angle is underappreciated, AAOI is positioning as the largest U.S.-based producer of AI-focused transceivers. The bear case: they don’t have a visible path into the CPO, microLED, or silicon photonics architectures that will define the next era, but their execution on the present cycle earns them a spot.

3. $MRVL (Marvell)
The most diversified interconnect play in the market. Optical DSP leader (70% interconnect revenue growth this year), CPO scale-up via the $5.5B Celestial AI acquisition (targeting $1B run rate by end of 2028 with Amazon Trainium 4), microLED through the Mojo Vision partnership, and copper connectivity for NVLink Fusion. Jensen Huang called it the next trillion-dollar company. The risk is valuation, 96x trailing P/E prices in a lot of execution.

4. Lumentum ($LITE)
The structural chokepoint. Only supplier shipping 200G-per-lane EMLs at volume, the component everyone needs for 1.6T transceivers. CPO is actually bullish for Lumentum because CPO switches still need external laser sources, and Lumentum just booked its largest CPO laser order ever (hundreds of millions, H1 2027 delivery). NVIDIA has pre-allocated laser capacity so aggressively that lead times stretch past 2027. The risk is concentration — Lumentum is a laser company, and if a competitor qualifies a second source at 200G, pricing power erodes.

5. $TSEM (Tower Semiconductor)
The picks-and-shovels play. Tower is the leading silicon photonics foundry, SiPh revenue grew 70% YoY, with $650M invested to triple capacity by mid-2026. Every CPO optical engine, every silicon photonics transceiver, and most photonic integrated circuits need a foundry, and Tower is where the industry is building. Less sexy than the chip designers, but foundries tend to win regardless of which architecture or end customer dominates. Lower volatility, lower ceiling, but the most technology-agnostic bet on the interconnect buildout.

Honorable mentions:

$ALAB (Astera Labs) would rank if it weren’t trading at a steeper premium with a narrower product focus (PCIe/CXL retimers and fabric switches). Worth watching if valuation pulls back.

$COHR (Coherent Corp) NVIDIA’s named silicon photonics collaborator for Spectrum-X. Coherent plays both sides, laser sources (where CPO is bullish) and transceivers (where CPO is bearish). The bear case is a messy transition where transceiver revenue drops before CPO revenue fills the gap.

A memory/storage framing by cache tier (DRAM, MU, SNDK, STX, WDC).

proposed: Ticker source; DRAM is an ETF the Hub already follows.

the post itself
$DRAM The ticker is misleading. Not because the holdings are wrong. Because the framework most investors are using to evaluate it is wrong.

At its core it covers memory and storage. But even those two words do not do justice to what is actually being captured here. They miss the intelligence entirely.

The right framework for the AI Inference era is Cognitive Capacity. How much can an AI think, reason, retrieve, and remember at any given moment. Not as a hardware specification. As an intelligence ceiling.
That ceiling is built on four tiers. G1 cache through G4 cache. And this single ticker covers all of them.

Here is what each tier does and who owns it.

G1 Tier HBM: The active thinking desk.
Every word you typed. Every word the AI is forming right now. All of it lives here in real time through something called KV Cache. KV Cache is the AI's active attention. It holds every piece of the conversation the model is tracking simultaneously. Bigger desk means more ideas stay in front of the AI while it thinks. The moment the desk fills up ideas fall off and the AI starts forgetting what you said earlier. Shorter answers. Shallower reasoning. Lost context.

SK Hynix. 60% global HBM market share.

$MU Micron. The US pure play.

Samsung. HBM3E yield challenges but catching Up. Potentially HBM4 leader.

G2 Tier DRAM: The overflow desk.
When the main desk fills up work spills here. Model weights live here during active inference. Still faster than anything below it. But the AI has to reach further. Every millisecond of extra reach is throughput the GPU never gets back. The latency gap between G1 and G2 is real and costly at scale.

$MU Micron. DRAM is the core business. SOCAMM2 leader. Potentially 3D DRAM too.

Samsung. Largest DRAM producer by volume globally.

SK Hynix. Strong DRAM portfolio alongside HBM leadership.

Nanya. Commodity DRAM. No HBM roadmap. Serves cost sensitive markets.

G3 Tier NAND: The reference library down the hall.
This is where RAG lives. RAG stands for Retrieval Augmented Generation. When the AI needs to answer something beyond its active context it reaches into an external knowledge base and pulls relevant information back into the response in real time. Think of it as the AI pausing mid thought to look something up in a filing cabinet and continuing the answer with that new information folded in. Every enterprise AI chatbot answering questions about internal documents runs on RAG. The speed and density of NAND determines how fast and how rich that retrieval is. Slower NAND means the AI waits. Waiting means higher cost per token.

$SNDK SanDisk. Pure NAND play. Enterprise SSD leader.

Kioxia. Joint venture partner with SanDisk on NAND wafer supply.

$MU Micron. Samsung. SK Hynix

G4 Tier HDD: The warehouse across town.
Cold storage including cold RAG. The AI does not touch this during a live conversation. But every model ever trained was built from what lives here. Raw training data at petabyte scale. The entire internet. Common Crawl. Books. Code repositories. Video and image datasets for multimodal models. Pre processed training shards waiting for the next training run. Model version archives. Compliance logs. Backup snapshots of the entire AI infrastructure stack.

KV Cache has never lived here. Not once. The physics do not allow it. Spinning magnetic disk runs on microseconds. Active inference needs nanoseconds. HDD was never a candidate.

But hyperscalers are buying petabytes of HDD capacity to store the raw material AI was built from and will keep being built from. That is a real and growing thesis.

$STX Seagate. Pure HDD. Scaling HAMR technology for high capacity AI data lake storage.

$WDC Western Digital. Pure HDD now. HAMR drives targeting 36TB and 44TB configurations for hyperscale AI storage.

AI Inference needs all four tiers firing simultaneously every single time an AI responds to you. Agentic AI raises the stakes even higher. An AI agent does not answer one question and stop. It plans across multiple steps. It holds context across long running tasks. It retrieves external knowledge mid execution. It writes results back. Every step of that loop stresses a different tier of the memory hierarchy. Run out of G1 and the agent loses the thread mid task. Wait on slow G3 retrieval and the agent burns cost per token sitting idle.

That is what makes $DRAM one of the most fitting ETFs ever constructed for the AI Inference and Agentic AI era. $DRAM covers the entire stack.

Long DRAM, I mean Long AI Inference and G1-G4 Cache/Context.

- 2028 - 2030 (2 - 4 years): first real shortages emerge. Re-ratings will happen here. AI/robotics/EV booms and uptrends will start.

Monthly OpEx gamma roll-off and dealer positioning.

proposed: Options positioning has no source in the Hub. Note only, unless Alan wants to pay for one.

the post itself
🚨🚨ALERT | SPY MONTHLY OPEX | Friday May 15

$739.12 close. The structural cliff arrived on schedule.

Two days ago we said: "When the engine turns off (May 15 OpEx drains 24% of gamma), the streak's structural support disappears."

It drained 36.8%. Bigger than forecasted. 2.61M gamma shares and 16.85M delta shares expire tonight. The largest single-session gamma rolloff since we started tracking.

The engine behind the rally: dealers short 207M shares, put decay forcing mechanical buying every session. Tonight, 4.39M contracts expire. 3.42M of those are puts. The P/C ratio on expiring contracts is 3.56x. Those were the hedges that powered the grind. They're gone by Monday morning.

16.85M of long delta expires tonight. Dealers unwind short hedges to rebalance. That's selling pressure into Monday's open, not because of sentiment, because of mechanics.

What survived: +4.49M net gamma. Still positive. But surviving delta dropped from +119M last Friday to +49.18M after tonight. That's a 59% reduction in the dealer engine that was buying every dip.

The gamma blanket went from 7.10M this morning to 4.49M after tonight. Same decline we saw May 1 and May 8, but at monthly scale. The weekly rolloffs chipped at the cushion. The monthly just took a third of what was left.

The streak's structural support was never price. It was positioning. 13.8M puts decaying into dealer buying, every session. That fuel source just lost its largest single reload.

Volatility was compressed because the gamma blanket absorbed every move. The blanket is 37% thinner tonight. Monday's ranges should reflect it.

The calendar answered the question.

proposed: DXY is not in the Hub universe; the dollar would need adding as a macro series.

the post itself
$DXY is pushing higher, but it does not really matter yet.

For equities, the real warning is not just the dollar moving up.

It is the dollar moving up, yields moving up, and breadth weakening at the same time.

$DXY is worth watching during this bounce and it will be important as it gets closer to $99.40s but not something to react to just yet.

Anthropic's revenue growth curve.

proposed: Not investable in the Hub (private company). Context only.

the post itself
Anthropic's growth rate is accelerating at $14 billion of scale.

The chart is on a log scale. A straight line on log means constant percentage growth. The curve above is bending up.

Dec 2022 to Jan 2025 was 10x per year, twice. Dec 2025 to May 2026 was 5x in five months. The annualized rate at $14B exceeds the rate at $1B.

That isn't supposed to happen. Percentage growth decays as software companies scale. The largest software businesses have never sustained 50%+ YoY at $10B+ ARR, let alone accelerated.

Slack held the record for fastest SaaS company to $1B ARR. It took five years. Anthropic went from $1B to $44B in seventeen months.

Salesforce did $37.9B in revenue across all of fiscal 2025. Anthropic's run rate now exceeds Salesforce. Salesforce was founded in 1999.

The most aggressive analyst projection from August 2025 had Anthropic hitting $30B ARR by August 2026. They beat the bull case by four months.

The acceleration is Claude Code. Launched May 2025. $2.5B in run-rate revenue by February 2026. Weekly active users doubled since January.

Enterprise customers spending over $1M per year went from 500 to 1,000 in two months. That's where the curve comes from. The check size is compounding. The user count is secondary.

The last ninety days added more ARR than the entire seventeen-month climb to $14B.

There is no comparable curve in software history.

Nokia as an underrated AI infrastructure name.

proposed: Ticker source; NOK is outside the universe.

the post itself
$NOK Nokia is still one of the most underlooked AI stocks out there -

please read to understand this company better

The Multiple Ways Nokia Gets Paid

1. Data Center Interconnect (happening now) (most recently 49% YoY growth)

Every time Google or Microsoft builds a new AI cluster, they need fiber optic systems connecting those data centers to each other.

Nokia sells the optical transport equipment — cables, transponders, pluggables. This is the 49% AI & Cloud growth you’re seeing right now in their numbers. Real revenue, today.

2. Inside the Data Center (early but growing)
Nokia has signed data center switching deals with Microsoft and Apple, and was selected by CoreSite to provide routing upgrades across their US data center footprint.

So they’re not just connecting data centers to each other — they’re also selling the switches and routers that manage traffic inside the building.

3. AI-RAN / Cell Towers (future) HUGE potential

The GPU-in-tower story with NVIDIA. Still in trials, probably 2028+ at real revenue scale. But the optionality is there.

4. Defense and National Security (quietly growing)
Nokia has a Federal Solutions division and sells defense networking and tactical communications systems, most recently Anduril and Lockheed Martin. As Leopold’s “Project” thesis plays out and governments pour money into AI-secured infrastructure, Nokia sits right in that flow.

5. Sovereign AI Networks (emerging)
Worldwide sovereign cloud spending is forecast to hit $80 billion in 2026, up 35% from 2025. Governments don’t want their AI data running through American or Chinese infrastructure — they want their own.

Nokia is pitching itself as the trusted Western provider to build those national networks.

6. 5G and 6G Densification (ongoing)
Separate from AI-RAN, carriers are still spending on upgrading their networks. Nokia’s mobile business is steadier than people give it credit for.
